The students of Richview Collegiate Institute are passionately involved in a program that is focused on saving lives. “IN THE DRIVER's SEAT ” is a student-based, staff-supported, education and awareness campaign, with the sole intent of reducing road crashes involving teens.

For those between sixteen and twenty-four years of age, car keys and Friday / Saturday nights can be a deadly combination. Statistics show that eighty percent of traffic fatalities involving this age group occur on these nights. In Fact impaired driving continues to be the leading criminal cause of death in Canada.

TaxiMiles is a program that offers students alternative transportation. TaxiMiles is also pleased to support Richview Collegiate “IN THE DRIVER's Seat” program.
